Queen of the Deccan - Pune

Sheltered by the Sahyadri mountain range, sitting on the banks of Muthu river with the Deccan Plateau providing its support on the west lies the Queen of Deccan, the hilly city of Pune in Maharashtra. As one enters the city of Pune one can sense a feeling of history as one sees the tall towering palaces, forts and monuments like the Sinhagad Fort, Aga Khan Palace. The city of Pune has always been important right from the beginning as during the 18th century it was the political center of the Indian subcontinent. The air of Pune is rift with courage and bravery as it was the birthplace of many a free men and women who formed an important part in the nation building process. Pune is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha empire and it is the also the  birthplace of many a freedom fighters and social reformers like  Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Vitthal Ramji Shinde, Dhondo Keshav Karve, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Dr. Raghunath Karve.
As one takes a stroll down the streets of Pune and hears the sound of Dhol Tasha resonating the air one gets a tryst with the rich cultural heritage of Pune and rightly understands the reason for Pune to be called the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Pune is every foodie paradise as one gorges down on the misal pav with the butter melting by. Further Pune can rightly be called a young city in true sense as the city is home to thousands of youngsters from across India and the world who come to pursue their higher education here. Thus, here Pune adds yet another feather in its cap as it is called the Oxford of the east due to the prominent institutions present here.

Today Pune is well on its way to become one of  the most developed cities in India. A major contribution in this end is because Pune is today a prominent industrial hub in India. Pune has build its prominence in Information Technology and manufacturing particularly in the automotive. Pune is house to the greenfield facilities of many big automotive giants like Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Force Motors, Renault, Jagaur, Volkswagen, Renault, Fiat etc due to which Pune has rightly got the title “Motor City”. Pune also has the presence of large number of automotive component manufacturers. Further Pune has a large forging cluster present. All this has build a perfect ecosystem for tremendous economic development in Pune and Pune like a horse is steadily winning one race after another and has been successful to become one of the most developed cities in India.
Hence, as Pune is a potpourri of young talent with bubbling energy, new ideas and dreams we aim to meet such individuals to further enthuse them, mentor them as well as learn from them.So with this goal in our mind we enter the Queen of Deccan Pune.
