Day 61 of Mentor on Road, USA

“Look upon every man, woman, and everyone as God. You cannot help anyone, you can only serve: serve the children of the Lord, serve the Lord Himself, if you have the privilege.
-Swami Vivekananda
Day 61 of Mentor on Road, USA started with a visit to the most famous tourist place in Chicago, Skydeck Chicago. Walking on glass top on the 103 floor and looking down to a beautiful city was a experience worth cherishing.

Willis Tower is 1,450 feet (443 meters) high – 1,730 feet (520 meters) including twin antenna towers. It is the twelfth-tallest building in the world; second tallest building in the North America and the Western Hemisphere, standing 1,450 feet and 110 stories tall. The Skydeck is the highest observation deck in the United States.

The Ledge brings an exhilarating new experience to the tower. Opened in 1974, the Skydeck attracts more than 1.7 million visitors annually who enjoy views of up to 50 miles and four states. Now, The Ledge dares visitors to attempt a new Chicago experience: stand on The Ledge and feel the city from 103 floors over Wacker Drive and the Chicago River, providing never-before-seen views of the city.

Then, Mentor on Road headed to its second tourist place, a visit to the Millennium Park. Thoroughly enjoyed the place surrounded by splendid views, soft music and a friendly crowd. We also took a boat ride in the Chicago River where we understood the interesting history behind Chicago.

Millennium Park is a public park located in the Loop community area of Chicago in Illinois, US, and originally intended to celebrate the second millennium. It is a prominent civic center near the city's Lake Michigan shoreline that covers a 24.5-acre (99,000 m2) section of north-western Grant Park. The area was previously occupied by parkland, Illinois Central rail yards, and parking lots. The park, which is bounded by Michigan AvenueRandolph StreetColumbus Drive and East Monroe Drive, features a variety of public art

In 2017, Millennium Park was the top tourist destination in
Chicago and the Midwest, and placed among the top ten in the United States with 25 million annual visitors.

Mentor on Road shared with him the vision and mission of Mentor on Road, USA and our achievements so far in connecting American businesses to India. We were glad to receive full support from his side. Heartfelt thanks to Poonam Gupta for arranging this meeting at a short notice.

The United States House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the United States Congress, which along with the Senate composes the legislature of the United States.

The composition and powers of the House are established by Article One of the United States Constitution. The House is composed of representatives who sit in congressional districts which are allocated to each of the 50 states on a basis of population as measured by the U.S. Census, with each district entitled one representative.

The House is charged with the passage of federal
legislation, known as bills, which, after concurrence by the Senate, are sent to the President for consideration.

In addition to this basic power, the House has certain exclusive powers which include the power to initiate all bills related to revenue, the
impeachment of federal officers, who are sent to trial in the Senate, and in cases wherein no candidate receives a majority of electors for President, the duty falls upon the House to elect one of the top three recipients of electors for that office, with one vote given to each state for that purpose.

Looking forward to a constructive day tomorrow.

Jai Ho! (Let victory be yours)
