Day 69 of Mentor on Road, USA

If the mind is intensely eager, everything can be accomplished – mountains can be crumbled into atoms.”
-Swami Vivekananda
Day 68 of Mentor on Road USA started with an excellent event organized by United States Commercial Services (USCS) in Pittsburgh. We were glad to interact with the top-notch companies and small and medium businesses of Pittsburgh.

Mentor on Road presented about the changes taking place in New India 3.0 and how the US companies can benefit from the several new initiatives of the Government of India such as “Smart cities”, “Digital India”, “Start- up India’’, “Skill India”, etc.

Mentor on Road also spoke about the specific opportunities which these programs offer for American companies and how to partner with Indian companies to get business under these programs of Government of India which was highly appreciated by everyone present in the event.

The event was then followed by an interesting Q&A session where Mentor on Road sincerely spoke on the changes that are already taking place and changes that are yet to come in India.

After this, the event was followed by one to one meetings. It was a great experience interacting with successful entrepreneurs who are truly humble and warm at heart.

Mentor on Road is highly thankful to USCS for being a tremendous partner of Mentor on Road and providing an incredible support in the entire journey. We look forward to work with them in future towards the dream of bringing the nations, India and the USA closer.

After this, Mentor on Road headed towards a delicious lunch in a French restaurant on the street side with airport authority where we discussed on creating direct connectivity between India and Pittsburgh. Mentor on Road would surely start working towards it soon.

In the evening Mentor on Road decided to explore the beautiful city and do sightseeing in Mount Washington Cog Railway. We completely enjoyed the scenic views in the train ride to the top of Mount Washington.

The Mount Washington Cog Railway is the world's first mountain-climbing
cog railway (rack-and-pinion railway). The railway is still in operation, climbing Mount Washington in New HampshireUSA. It uses a Marsh rack system and one or two steam locomotives and six bio diesel powered locomotives to carry tourists to the top of the mountain.

It is the second steepest rack railway in the world after the
Pilatus railway (Mountain railway in Switzerland and the steepest cog railway in the world), with an average grade of over 25% and a maximum grade of 37.41%. Most of the Mount Washington Cog Railway is in Thompson and Meserve's Purchase, with the part of the railway nearest to Mt. Washington's summit being in Sargent's Purchase.

Every single day of this journey has been a new experience and a new reality for Mentor on Road. Mentor on Road would like to conclude by saying, one must never stop looking out for the opportunities and believing in the goodness of this beautiful world.

Looking forward to a constructive day tomorrow.

Jai Ho! (Let victory be yours)
